Coastal Plains Insurance, which
was founded in 1912 as McCrory, Armstrong, and Waters
Agency of Jacksonville, Florida, was purchased by Maynard
D. Barker, Jr., CIC in 1984 and moved to Hilton Head
Island, South Carolina.
Our main goal still is: to
offer choice in insurance products, customization of
insurance programs, and advocacy to our clients .
Coastal Plains Insurance has grown
to a service-minded, highly professional group of over
25 associates. Our once small office is now a highly
automated center that helps us to stay abreast of the
continual changes in our industry. Since 1984, Coastal
Plains has prided itself on the important service we
provide our Island community. The hard work and helpful
attitudes of our associates have given thousands of
individuals and businesses security that they can depend
on, which has made our agency a professional insurance
leader in the Southeast.
